Environmental Policy

We recognise that our activities have an impact on the environment in terms of the use of emissions to air, waste management, use of raw materials and natural resources, and other environmental issues including dust and transport.  We seek to minimise the impact on the environment as far as reasonably practicable.

We are committed to:

  • Continual improvement of our environmental performance
  • Compliance with all environmental legislation, regulations and codes of practice relevant to our industry
  • Preventing pollution

Our policy is to:

  • Make efficient use of natural resources by conserving energy and water, minimising waste, and recycling where possible
  • Keep transport use to a minimum and regularly service vehicles to maintain their efficiency
  • Meet our duty care requirements in relation to waste by ensuring the safe keeping, transportation and subsequent recovery or disposal of waste
  • Meet our duty care requirements in relation to hazardous waste (F-Gases) by providing relevant staff with full F-Gas training, correctly testing equipment and tools, and the reporting systems to ensure sufficient records are kept

We will review this policy on annual basis, taking account of any changes within legislation and our organisation, and other factors.

We will communicate this policy to all our staff and ensure that they are given appropriate training to raise awareness of environmental issues. Where the company appoints a sub contractor we will ensure that they comply with this policy, and any relevant activities that have an impact on the environment.

We will make this policy available when requested to interested parties including sub contractors, suppliers, and members of the public.
